My Beautiful Brittany...

You my child have always been someone who marches to their own drum beat.  As a little girl you were my cuddlebug.  As you grew you became quite the little drama queen...lol.  I could always count on you to keep me laughing with your antics.  Although life hasn't turned out the way we both thought it would, you have blessed me with two beautiful little boys.  You have grown into a beautiful young woman and now that you have children of your own you know how deep the love of a mother for her children truly goes. No matter how old you get that is how deeply I will always love you.  Even through the tough times that we have gone through, you will always be my baby girl, my love...my Brittany

My Sweet Christin...

As I sit here looking through old pictures of you, I realize that you have grown into the young woman that I have always wanted you to be.  Your beauty radiates from within a heart of compassion.  Your smile is like the warming rays of sunshine and your infectious laugh brings joy and happiness to every one who hears it.  If I am down I just think about your laugh and it makes me smile.  I pray that as you go through life, and all the difficulties that come with it, that you will never allow it to change who you are. Where to begin....

As I sit here and begin typing I think about what I wish to accomplish through blogging and decide that I want to leave a written record of my life to my daughters and grandsons. I want to share with them important life lessons that I have learned through the years. I want to share with them the things in life that will come their way that they need to cherish but more importantly I want to leave them with the experiences that I have encountered in hopes that they will not make the same mistakes I have made.   I also want to share with them the history of our family and the memories of their grandparents and great-grandparents. All my life I have heard "With Age Comes Wisdom" and I have found that to be very true...so as I begin my journey into the world of blogging, I will endeavor to pass on to my children and grandchildren the nuggets of wisdom that I have learned through the years.
